16 acre, 22 car underground garage, aerial view, carriage house, castle, exercise suite, john schnatter, limousine, motorized, papa johns, turntable, valet office

Here is the side view of the house, also showing the entrances to the multi-level underground garage.
This large and over the top mansion is owned by the founder and CEO of Papa John’s, John Schnatter. The house is 40,000 square feet and it resembles a castle. One interesting feature on this 16-acre estate is the 22-car underground garage, complete with an office for valet parking, a car wash and even a motorized turn table to move limousines. The home also has a state-of-the-art exercise suite and a huge 6,000 square foot carriage house. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any information on the inside of this interesting estate. Click the link below for an aerial view below.

No more Papa John’s for me of he thinks he can’t afford to reasonably share his wealth with the folks who work for him. Besides, additional employee expenses would be tax deductible. Selfish and greedy.
I’m with you, Linda.
This is obscene, when people are starving in the USA. What has he contributed to mankind?…
How about 16,500 jobs, stadiums and thousands in charities. Rocky, Linda and Lucille what have you done that is even close to contributing to mankind?
Well said!! When did this nation start demonizing success….. mandates hurt all businesses………Odd how hate mongering seems to be spreading across American & ridiculing those who provide jobs. I’m becoming more & more disappointed in the generation that thinks success is BAD. I worry more about Michelle Obama spending MY tax dollars on her extravagant vacations!
Lonny, you must be a Rush “Druggie” Limbaugh baby. 16,500 people make this man rich. Haveyou ever supported a family delivering pizza? Stadiums to keep his name in the lights. And charities(like Mitt with the Mormans) are all tax deductible and he doesn’t pay enough taxes. So don’t play Papa John as a great contributor to mankind.
I don’t begrudge this guy one single thing if he earned it & built it himself. He employes lots of people…….. when business is good, lots of people work, when business slows down/mandates force cuts to be made to preserve the business. Seems we are now demonizing successful folks & somehow developing an entitlement mentality. Seems odd how far we have come in 50 years, NO one said this about the Kennedy’s who lived large compared to the rest of America. Seems like Hate mongering to ridicule & criticize a successful business man. WHAT I worry about is the millions & millions Michelle Obama spent of Tax Payer Dollars on Vacations! Papa John didn’t waste one cent of my money………..
That’s bullshit. When business is good, pay roll is cut to make the stocks go up and earn even more money for these people. He can afford a castle, a mote, and a limousine turntable that cost more per year to upkeep than it would cost to insure his workforce, but instead, he threatens his workers and his customers and you people applaud this psychopath for that.
To paula: actually he did spend from your money. Cause if your buying his pizza your money is going into his business which eventually they to him.
By the way Papa Johns is open 365 days a year. Why the heck can he at least close the stores one day or on holiday so the employees can have time with there family. If he has that much money then he can afford to close for thanksgiving, christmas and new years etc. etc.
Why in the hell would anyone want a house this big in the first place? I don’t care how much money you have, that’s not the point, when you think about it, this house is worthless! Why? Because if he spent $3 Billion to build this place, he will never be able to sell it. Not very many people have that kind of money. When he dies and leaves it to his kids or someone else in his will, what are they going to do with it? They will never be able to sell it either.
People who are dumb enough to build a house like this don’t realize it, but they are their own worst enemy and they create their own problems. This is not a luxury house, it is a big target! Not only for news media, the government, terrorists, etc, but everyone. Curious tourists, kids running around with spray paint, toilet paper and eggs, pilots with nothing better to do than fly over your house, gangs, the list goes on. But why would anybody want to attract that much attention to themself.
what is he going to do with all the rooms in that house anyway? Half the rooms in the house are probably there just for decoration, or just to make the house bigger!
When this guy dies, this place will be like the Roman Coliseum, that was so big and expensive, nobody could buy it. So the government owns it and it’s nothing but a tourist attraction.
One other thing that nobody’s mentioned on here, there is also a very expensive, working drawbridge on this property.
This guy should actually be sharing some of his Billions of dollars with his employees, customers, charitable organizations and the rest of the world, rather than just spending it all on himself.
Just for the record, I don’t blame him one bit for not supporting Nobama Care. I don’t support Obama or Obama Care one bit. When the government tries to force things like this on people and take away our freedom, people in the US are going to rebel. That should have been common sense right from the beginning to Obama, but no, his Democratic, Socialistic, Communistic views and ideas are getting in the way and he and all his brainwashed, Democratic followers are dumb and either don’t realize that or don’t care!
USA is the only civilized nation on this planet that doesnt offer it’s citizens affordable healthcare and you are bitching about helping people…Obama helped get the start of affordable healthcare on the books…Go live in Russia if you dont like helping the poor..You are NOT a socialist or communist for helping people….
this is in kentucky ive seen it, it is in a small town outside of louisville and no gangs or children can get in because there is a gate outside the house
We see this Guy’s house on here and everyone is talking trash about it, but what about all the other super duper rich people in the world who are just as greedy and worthless? Why aren’t people talking bad about them to?
Why is everyone freaking out about Papa John having a mansion? everyone says, “he has low paying jobs and that he donates money to charities for a tax credit.” Okay…and? if someone does not like the fact that he pays little, has a big house, or gives money to charity, then don’t buy his pizzas or work for him. its a free country. but people still work for him and people still enjoy the product he produces. he still gives thousands of people a job and gives valuable money to charity. if you want to form a fortune 500 company and pay everyone including yourself 20 dollars an hour and everyone gets paid the same and not give money to lower your taxes, then go for it. it would make a touching story. just because he started selling pizzas that he made from home, and is now worth oh a billion dollars or so, does not mean he has to give it all away. those thoughts are just as jealous as you portray him to be greedy.
Very well said, I agree with you
His critics are idiots. It’s his money and he can spend it any way he wants. You all sound like Obama supporters. I went to school with John and he grew up in a typical middle class family. Mind your own business.
hey greg h how much is john paying you to say that. i hope the government taxes the hell out of him , economy problem solved.
I don’t know John, we were not friends. What a stupid statement you made about the economy. You sound like a typical ignorant liberal. Taxing the rich anymore won’t solve anything. You obviously don’t understand economics. You sound like an Obama supporter, not very bright.
To Greg H: Reading your comment it doesn’t seem like you are any different from a lay-man-economist. Let me explain you how economics works. The basic forces of any economy, be it a country or a business are demand and supply. So, the driver of growth (aka more supply) is growth in demand. Some people like you believe that increasing the capital (taxing less) with businesses will drive the growth and reduction in unemployment, but the fact of the matter is that John or any other businessman does not walk out everyday of his million dollar mansion to create jobs; the goal is growth and that will not happen unless the customers have the money to buy pizzas. That being said, I have no issues with successful people and their mansions. They deserve every bit of it. No one said that life will be fair.
papa SUCKS !!!!!!!
